FAXE Maintenance Oil
Series: 0245For care and renovation of oiled floors
FAXE Maintenance Oil can be used for first application or for renovation of wood surfaces that have been treated with naturally hardening oil. It makes existing oiled surfaces particularly durable and restores the depth and brilliance of dull areas. Factory oiled parquet flooring has an additional edge and joint protection. FAXE Maintenance Oil is recommended by manufacturers of ready-to-lay parquet flooring. Oily, waxy and sticky substances can be gently and effectively dissolved and removed using FAXE Maintenance Oil. It can be applied to small areas by hand or to large areas using a machine.

Preparation:
The wood must be clean, grease-free and dry. Precleaning with FAXE Intensive Cleaner removes existing treatment products and ensures an even coating of oil. Min. processing temperature: 18°C.
Application:
• Apply some oil to the surface and massage into the wood intensively, using a beige or white pad, until the surface is saturated and no further oil is absorbed.
• Wipe the surface completely dry using oil absorbing cloths or felt pads. No film of oil must remain on the surface.
After Care:
Floors polished by machine are resilient to use after a few hours. Floors polished by hand are resilient to use the next day as a rule. Areas that need to be walked on can be covered with cloths or corrugated cardboard. Do not wet wipe within the first 3 days after application and protect from moisture.

Cleaning: Clean tools with FAXE Oil Thinner.
Storage: Keep above +5°C.
Components:
Isoparaffin, refined vegetable oils, wood oil, drying agents, pigment when relevant.
Empty the complete contents of the container into a plastic vessel, stir thoroughly before and during use. Several containers containing identical products should be mixed together.
The finished result depends, amongst other things, on the preparatory treatment, structure and natural colour of the substrate. For this reason, try out first on a sample area.

IMPORTANT
Risk of spontaneous ignition: Oil-soaked cloths, abrasive dust, etc. can spontaneous ignite. Soak cloths etc. in water and dispose or keep in a fireproof container.
