In the past, there have been different systems for classifying and labelling chemicals, depending on where in the world it is produced or to be used.

Therefore, a standard system for classification and labelling has been developed for the whole world – GHS, and a common European part, called CLP. Going forward, the paint will be marked with symbols similar to these (instead of the familiar orange squares)

The system aims to increase the protection of human health and safety as well as the environment with an internationally understandable label.

The system will also reduce the need for testing and evaluation of chemicals. With this global system, international trade will be more straightforward, as the risk of chemicals is assessed and identified similarly for everyone.

Since June 1 2015, all our products have been labelled according to CLP when they leave our production or warehouse. Our distributors and dealers can continue to sell products with the old labelling until June 1, 2017. Consumers who will use our products can continue to do so indefinitely, regardless of labelling.

In connection with the changes in CLP labelling, we automatically send out updated safety data sheets (MSDS) by e-mail to ensure that all those who buy products from us have the safety data sheet in an updated form. This means that when you order new products, or when you order the products that have had their safety data sheet updated, you will receive an e-mail with an attached PDF.

You can download the latest MSDS at any time on our website: here
